Caledonian Railway 828 back in steam

A fortnight ago, a visit was paid to the Strathspey Railway to inspect Caledonian Railway 828, the last surviving British example of the work of the great Glasgow-based locomotive engineer, J.F. McIntosh. 828 is an 812-class and dates from 1899. After a major rebuild, 828 re-entered service in July.
